Why We Exist

Most Japan Content Is Written by People Who Visited for 2 Weeks

We've lived here for years. Some of us bought houses here. Some of us married into Japanese families. We speak the language, pay the taxes, navigate the bureaucracy — and we know which ramen shop has been terrible for three years running.

That depth of knowledge is what makes MitoraHub different. We're not trying to go viral. We're trying to give you the answer you'd get if you had a close friend who lived in Japan and answered your questions honestly.

We cover food, travel, culture and real estate — the four areas where having insider knowledge changes everything from a good trip to a life-changing one.
